Triovest Wins 2019 BOMA Pinnacle Innovation Award

Triovest is pleased to announce that it has received the 2019 BOMA Pinnacle Innovation Award in Edmonton for the implementation of a cogeneration system at ATB Place.

In 2018, Triovest installed two onsite combined heat and power plants to generate electricity and recapture waste heat.  It has reduced dependency on electricity grid power and provides financial and operational benefits to the tenants of ATB Place. By installing this state-of-the-art system, energy costs are reduced up to 50% and risks associated with rising energy costs are stabilized. Annual greenhouse gas emissions were also reduced by approximately 3,000 tonnes.

BOMA’s Pinnacle Innovation Award recognizes role-model companies that demonstrate standards of excellence to which all BOMA members and their employees should aspire. The purpose of the Pinnacle Award for Innovation is to recognize and promote innovation in the commercial real estate industry.

Congratulations to our team in Edmonton on this achievement.
