Triovest to Take Part in Canstruction Vancouver
When it comes to stamping out hunger, Triovest has a can-do attitude. Come and witness Canstruction Vancouver 2014 this May 9-16th and cheer on the ‘The Can-tastic Four’, a team made up of volunteers from Triovest, PCI Group, Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership (MCMP) and Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (RJC).
Over 20 teams of professional designers, architects and engineers will battle it out to complete magnificent, larger-than-life sculptures in just 12 hours using only canned food and their imagination. This year’s theme taps the imagination of Jules Verne’s Around the world in 80 days; it could be a destination, a mode of transportation, or a moment in history.
These spectacular canned sculptures will be on display for a week after which prizes will be awarded. Once the structures are taken down, all of the food is donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. This year Canstruction Vancouver expects to raise 90,000+ cans of food for donation.
Triovest is using 9,276 cans in their top-secret design. Come on out to the Pendulum Art Gallery (HSBC Building) on May 10th 9am – 5pm to check out our larger-than-life masterpiece. One CAN make a difference!
