Keynote Tower First in Calgary to Achieve Gold Wired Certification for Best-in-Class Internet Connectivity

Triovest is pleased to announce that Keynote Office Tower 1, a 284,000 sq. ft., 13 storey office tower located in Calgary’s Beltline, has become the first building in Calgary to achieve the designation of Wired Certified Gold.

The designation was assigned upon review of the building’s best-in-class connectivity, technological infrastructure and readiness to adopt to emerging technologies.

Keynote offers a range of amenities to tenants including multiple outdoor patios, on-site bicycle storage, a fully equipped fitness facility and striking double storey building lobby with a waterfall and a grand piano.

Notable tenants benefitting from Keynote’s best-in-class digital infrastructure include Wood Group, Sunterra Quality Food Markets, Starbucks and Triovest Realty Advisors.

“Offering our tenants and their patrons the best possible experience in the building is a primary focus of ours,” said David Moore, Property Manager at Triovest Realty Advisors. “We are pleased to add this Wired Certified Gold designation to the achievements and amenities offered at Keynote.”

“As the first property in Calgary to pursue and earn Wired Certification, Keynote Office Tower stands out as a forward-thinking property in the region and can clearly demonstrate a commitment to digital connectivity,” said Arie Barendrecht, CEO and founder of WiredScore. “A seamless digital experience has become essential for office tenants to feel empowered and productive in the modern age.”

In pursuing Wired Certification, the property underwent a comprehensive certification process that evaluated the aspects of digital infrastructure that enable a seamless connectivity experience in which office tenants are able to stay online and maintain productivity levels.

Upon review of the project’s technical elements including: internet service providers available to tenants, infrastructure redundancy, connection access points, and readiness to meet future tenant needs, a Wired Certification level is assigned based on the official standards developed by WiredScore and its connectivity advisory board with representatives from Google Fiber, Rudin Management, Arup, WSP / Parsons Brinckerhoff, and Zayo Group.
