John Crombie to Receive a 2016 Researcher Award
Triovest is pleased to announce that John Crombie has been selected to receive a Gold Medallion Award from The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Researcher Awards. John is one of twelve honourees selected in a group of global recipients. This honour identifies researchers or research advocates who have demonstrated a significant commitment and contribution to ICSC’s research programs.
“The ICSC has always been a primary hub for indispensable information for the shopping centre industry. I am humbled by this acknowledgement and proud to be a part of such a valuable association.”said John.
The award winners have had an instrumental role in ICSC’s research, including but not limited to: writing, planning, participating, speaking at ICSC Research events, advising, serving as data collectors for ICSC’s Country Fact Sheets, and fostering industry benchmarking through data sharing or mobilizing peers in this effort.
“These recipients join an international roster of researchers from North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America who have gone the extra step in sharing their time, talents and efforts with the ICSC community over the years,” said ICSC Research Staff Vice President, Jean Lambert.
ICSC’s Researcher Award is endorsed by ICSC’s five research advisory group chairs and vice chairs. This award was established in 2007, following approval by five research committees—the North American, Canadian, European, Mexican and Asian-Pacific.
This year’s winners will be honoured on May 23 at RECon Las Vegas during the annual Fortune Tellers reception. The European award winners will also be honoured at the ICSC European Conference in Milan.
